Our Classic Film on June 12 is Pitfall (1948), starring Dick Powell, Lizabeth Scott, Jane Wyatt, and Raymond Burr. Directed by André de Toth, the film opens as a melodrama but quickly becomes a film noir and ends as social commentary.
