SOUTHBANK is a Community Arts, Music and Dance Venue based in Bedminster, Bristol. A local meeting place and melting pot for creatives, dancers, poets and their friends and just about anyone else who enjoys good music, dance, good beers and local ciders in a friendly smoke-free atmosphere.
It's a unique social mix where you can drink a pint of ale, do a salsa or ballet class, join in the open-mic nights or just listen to the endless stories from the locals.
There are lots of opportunities to get involved on a voluntary/part-time basis.

Accessibility
Our downstairs spaces are fully wheelchair accessible and include an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities. Please note the upstairs studio is only accessible via stairs, and the patio garden is accessed via steps.
Parking
Unfortunately, we don't have a designated car park. Paid on-street parking is available on Dean Lane and nearby streets, subject to availability.
Getting to Southbank
We're located in Southville, Bristol, and are easily reached by bus, bike or on foot from the city centre. Bristol Temple Meads is around a 25-minute walk away.
Can I run a regular class or workshop at SouthBank?
Absolutely. We welcome regular classes and community groups. Contact us to discuss availability.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, bookings are confirmed once the required deposit has been received.
Can I come and view the venue?
Yes! We'd be happy to show you around. Please contact us to arrange a viewing.
